After my original review didn’t stay up elsewhere, I’m sharing the experience again here. Went here for my birthday thinking it would be a safe bet — good reviews, nice photos, BBQ. The experience ended up being quite underwhelming. From the start, things felt off. We were greeted by a waiter chewing gum with his mouth slightly open and seated immediately after mentioning we had a reservation, without much confirmation. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy (around 7pm, only a few tables), yet the service felt uncoordinated throughout. Snacks were dropped on the table without explanation, menus took a while to arrive, and there was visible confusion around whether our order had been taken. Drinks came after a short wait, by which point the snacks had already been sitting there. One of the drinks tasted mostly like soda water with something added that wasn’t very clear from the menu. Food took around 35–40 minutes. Sides arrived first, then there was another wait before the meat came, so by the time everything was served, parts of the meal were already cold. We ordered the €39 pp platter, which unfortunately didn’t really come together. The chicken had very little flavour beyond the sauce, the ribs were dry and a bit tough, and the tacos came on a cold tortilla with a lot of sauce. The sausage was forgettable, and the very sharp pickle felt slightly random. Best part of the meal was probably the mashed potatoes and wedges — even though they had gone cold by then. Service remained minimal throughout. No one checked in, no updates, and overall it felt quite distant. At one point, the platter was explained very close to the table, which felt a bit uncomfortable. For a BBQ place, it lacked the sense of time, care, and flavour you’d expect. Considering the price (just over €100 for two), it felt disappointing — especially for a birthday dinner.

Zu ambitioniert, fehlende Erfahrung des Personals. Ich wurde von der Qualität der Speisen und des Konzeptes nicht abgeholt.

Highlight ist hier wirklich Fleischqualität und Geschmack, megazart, geschmackvoll und saftig. Wir kommen wieder.

Nothing as described, service friendly but useless - forgot half of the things

Can’t recommend. The waiter was trying it hard but unfortunately the quality of the food for the price you pay feels like a scammy place. Super fat pastrami, fries were no crispy at all, overcooked wagyu ( 99% not wagyu). Just bad

the food was absolutely delicious and the staff was so nice. the pulled pork was to die for. we will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Grottenschlecht, Bedienung und Service schlecht, Preise zu teuer. Kein Wiederholungsbedarf, keine Weiterempfehlung.

Im Essen steckte liebe, im Ambiente leider nicht, aber in Neugründung erstmal verständlich. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Gut gemeint, nicht in allen Punkten gut gemacht. Man muss allerdings immer im Hinterkopf behalten, dass es kein Restaurant ist. Essen war gut, Ambiente ist leider nicht so toll.

Sehr zu empfehlen, alles hat sehr lecker geschmeckt, sehr freundliches Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
